The University of Tampa’s Post-Master's Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree continues a tradition of excellence in nursing education and is designed for advanced practice registered nurses living in Florida.
With a focus on real-world relevancy, the Doctor of Nursing Practice program at the University of Tampa prepares DNP students to design, implement and evaluate evidence-based disease management care and to coordinate acute and chronic illness care for individuals and populations. Students will also complete 500 individual practicum hours working on a clinical change project to benefit their own practice.
The DNP program’s online format, with only three visits to campus, allows students to continue their full-time careers in their clinical practice while earning their doctoral degree. Serving as faculty advisors and mentors for students, UT nursing faculty of respected researchers and practitioners are committed to students’ educational mastery and career advancement.
